The Lamar Police Department Patrol Division utilizes 4 twelve hour shifts which provide service for the citizens of Lamar 24 hours a day. The shifts are divided into 4 teams consisting of 2 officers and a sergeant. There is currently 1 canine officer assigned to patrol.
